Through the past five years I have been running a blog dedicated to car design with an experimental approach. I was eager to establish a bridge with the design community and to gain experience on the web.

Now, time has come for a new project with broader goals, focuses and reach.

The goal is to establish a very lively «Café littéraire» where professional designers, design educators and students, car and design enthusiasts meet, show their ideas, discuss design matters and trends, contribute with their own reports and stories to the development of a modern design culture, with past experiences and inputs from different cultures.

He says he's been led by his colleague Sandro Colella (Executive and Sales Director of Stile Bertone) to create with PR officer Daniele Cornil, a complementary (or alternative?)  design consultancy called CR Design (for Cornil-Robinson) Robinson himself calls that company (promptly closed after a few months) a fake («farlocca» in Italian for). Robinson claims to have left by that new company just few days later and to have lost his own investment in the new company.

Robinson welcomes an article explaining what happened to the Bertone Style but doesn't want to talk about it and writes, in an SMS, "Having turned the page, I can't afford to be dragged into this Valley of Tears," but adds "... the real perpetrators should be hung on a tree."
