The multi-ethnic team at Qoros is keeping its promises with the precision of a Swiss watch and is going back to the Geneva motor show with its second model in the range ready for production. One year after the announcement of the Qoros 3 Sedan, here comes the Qoros 3 Hatch, with its two-box and 5 doors architecture extending over a length of 4.4 metres. Although it is as much as 215 mm shorter than the Sedan, the Hatch shares the same wheelbase of the Sedan and thus it comes with a comfortable wheelbase of 2.69 metres.
The looks provided by the images released by the young Sino-Chinese maker, create a good impression and this is to no surprise. It is the work of German and much experienced designer Gert Hildebrand, one of the most creative and passionate designers around. Indeed, the 3 Hatch looks even better balanced than the 3 Sedan it is derived from.
New Ferrari California T for Geneva 2014.
Ferrari is fast to align its GT supercars with the turbocharging technology making a come back to F1 this year and has just announced it will present its redesigned RHT convertible Ferrari California T (for Turbo, of course) at the Geneva motor show. With the additional T lettering the sexy 2+2 seats sport car now comes with a completely new 3.8 litre V8 powerplant delivering 417 kW at 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 755 Nm, good for 0 to 100 kph in 3.6 seconds, Compared to the outgoing 4.2 littre model, fuel consumption is down some 15 per cent despite the increase of 52 kW and a 49 per cent increase in torque).

After five-year experience as a commercial vehicle designer he became an assistant chief editor of Car Styling magazine. In 1989 he became freelance design journalist and has been working for various automobile and design magazines and web site.
